Genotypic differences in the growth of bananas infected with migratory endoparasitic nematodes: shoots

Genotypic differences in the growth of bananas infected with migratory endoparasitic nematodes: shoots

The effects of nematodes on banana shoots were investigated to determine whether there was an association between shoot characteristics and nematode resistance. Results showed that resistance to nematodes was associated with plant varieties that have a greater proportion of biomass to the roots than to above-ground parts.
