Climate smart push–pull technology by ICIPE: short film

This short film produced by ICIPE (International Centre of Insect Physiology and Ecology) was published in 2015. It features farmers in western Kenya who have benefited from the adapted push–pull technology and its transformational impact on their livelihoods. It shows how the technology controls Striga weeds and insect stemborers and improves soil fertility, resulting in dramatic yield increase in cereals by at least 3 tons per hectare. The film focuses on one farmer who talks about the changes brought to her life and that of her family through the use of push–pull technology.
